• Drawing Jelinek at the Lucerne Theatre

Schatten (Eurydike sagt), theatrical performance with live drawing and music
A collaboration with Fumetto Comic-Festival and Lucerne Theatre

Elfriede Jelinek brings the Greek Orpheus myth about the singer who wants to free his lover from the netherworld up to date. So far, Orpheus has always been at the center of the narrative, but Jelinek thinks the time has come for feminist rectification. Eurydike, Orpheus’ lover, raises her voice and steps out of the singer idol’s shadow. Together with the Lucerne Theatre I set out to theatrically overpaint the myth and thus, we connect theatre, music and live drawing.
